First step: You must create a Google account...its free and easy. This can be done when you click on the comment link. Then you are in.
Also, I will be posting links that are relevant to this class in the margin...there are already a couple there now. If you have interesting art links, post them in the comments page and I will review them before deciding to make them a permanent link.
I do expect EVERYBODY to log into this blog and to also to leave a comment at least 2- 3 times this semester. Please use this blog as a tool to keep up with class, ask questions for people to respond to, find out things missed, and to further deepen the concepts from class. This is designed to help you and keep you connected to each other. In a large lecture based class having a blog type component can be helpful and informative...so USE IT!

picasso is very interesting in the way he portrays his art
its interesting to see how architecture and art can relate to relate to eachother
i love picasso, his art is amazing and of course his cubism period with the guernica painting is pretty cool too. i saw his work at the prado museum in spain this past summer, good stuff.
Thanks for jumping in so soon with a continued discussion and comments from our past class...
i think the way piccaso paints shows a different side that people don't see and his cubism makes things interesting being layered and different shades in such a small area
id have to say Guernica is one of my favorite Picasso works. The size of the mural with all of what is going on in it is amazing.
Picasso is one of my favorite artist. His art is interesting and its very differnt.
I really prefer art in architecture, art on the wall never really does anything for me. Its so much better when you can when you can walk around and touch the art, when you can feel it, its just moves you especially when elements such as water or fire are incorporated into the piece.
Picasso has to be on the most well known artists in history and has his own very unique style of art.
